I wear abercrombie, hollister, aeagle, and stuff, but why is it so popular. and why are they so good? 75% of my school wears them, including me(I just started) but why. they don't even have advertisments. I'm kinda a smart girl, in a skiped grade of math, but i still want to be in. why? do you think its worth it?

Those stores follow most fads and many teen girls follow with them. Instead of following what everybody else is wearing, be unique and wear what you like. If you like those stores, then go ahead and wear their stuff, but don't wear it just because 75% of your school does too.

I think probably 85% of the girls who wear Abercrombie, Hollister, and American Eagle do it because their friends wear it, not because they actually LOVE LOVE LOVE those brands. You can still find really cute and trendy clothes that don't have to have the Abercrombie logo and a pricetag of $100.

one of the reasons abercrombie is so popular is because when it first came out it was actually considered to be designer fashion, and having it was a huge deal. it isn't considered this way to such an extreme anymore, but it is still considered quality clothing. since abercrombie owns hollister, that caught on also. (it also owns ruehl, which is very popular). anyway, i think you should wear whatever you want. if you think it's cute, wear it. don't wear it to be trendy, and don't not wear it just to seem "unique." do whatever you feel like.

wearing abercrombie clothes doesn't mean ur in. in fact, it kinda shows that u wanna be in really bad. if i were u i'd depend on my personality and fun other things to be in, not my clothes cuz guess what there's a million ppl wearing abercrombie clothes and ur just gonna be another one of those...plus not that many ppl judge u by ur clothes. they can't possibly rmbr what everybody wears all the time (or they have no life!)
find clothes u luv, make a statement, or look good on u and stand out. it's better to have a lot of clothing, medium expensive, then to have 5 abercrombie shirts that cost $30 each.

i wear those clothes too and know alot of people who do. i think its just a fad someone starts wearing somehting from there and others like it and start wearing it untill the whole world is brainwashed by there clothes and company! (lol) but yeah its just cause its a brand and people like brand nameed stuff cause it makes them feel rich and such!

you are right a lot of girls find it a very cool thing to shop at brand name stores. I think that American Eagle out of the three that you listed is the best.

because it's great quality (if you know what you're buying that is...). i've heard that it's "too well-known" for it to be advertised. but, you do occasionally see an American Eagle Outfitters commercial or an A&F billboard (there's one in Indianapolis, see it all the time).
i've been shopping @ all those stores for years on end...go for it hun.

Well all those clothes are made in third world countries with material that the elite in those countries would never wear and that costs little or nothing to produce. They bring it in, tag them with their labels and then you pay for brand name. I would never bother to pay so much just for a brand. I would rather go on quality and comfort.

YES. I am on top of fashion and the most pop. girl in school (not bragging here), but anyone who really knows fashion would know that those are the in places to shop although I prefer BCBG, Juicy, and Ralph Lauren.

It depends on what you think is right if you want to waste your money on expensive clotes go right ahead!But for me I go to thrift stores and still get cute clother that are from abercombie and hollister and AE.For really cheap with the tags still on them! So if you think its worth wasting your money on go ahead or you can go to thrift stores and still get cute clothes for cheap! Sometimes they still have the tags on them.
