then where did the process of the circle begin? I understand how it's physically impossible for the human mind can't grasp the fact that time has no beginning, but then that really scares me, if time is travelling in circles, maybe our lives as we live it today happened before, a number of years ago unimaginable to mankind and we're just living in a circle, but EVEN IF THAT were true.. where did THAT CYCLE begin.
seriously I need someone to help, even though no one can lol it's scary, it's human nature to belive everything has a beginning because as humans all we know is something, we've never known nothing.
scary thought, anyways, this is the exact reason why I belive God created everything, time, space, consiousness, EVERYTHING. People say the big bang created time, how? It's a law in physics that matter can neither be created nor destroyed, even before the big bang, all the matter that exists today HAS to have an origin, soo scary to think about.. so i'm done

time is an illusion...it is a construct of the mind that is useful in "conceptualizing" the "real" world....when we get caught up in issues of time, such as infinity, the issue is really that our CONCEPT of time is faulty and untrue..so we hit the wall

If everything in the universe has a beginning, therefore the universe must of had a beginning (i.e. god.)
This is the fallacy of composition, where you take a property from part of the whole and apply it to the whole itself. Here is another example: Suppose you had some legos, and they were industrucible. Now, let's say you build a machine out of those legos. Does it follow that the machine is industrucible? No, because you could just take the machine apart. That's how the fallacy works.
Why does matter/energy have to have an orgin? But if god created it, then what created god? Also, there are things that have several causes, and as these causes branch out, the idea of it being god starts to loose it's appeal. And if you say that god doesn't need to be created, then why does matter and energy?

I would suggest you read about what Albert Einstein said on the matter. There have been more theories since his time but that will give you a start. I would also suggest that you explore the string-theory.
Some say the universe has no "edge". Some say the universe is expanding. There is a theory that once the universe stops expanding then it will begin to contract and eventually there will be another Big Bang - albeit it will be an astronomical number of years. Perhaps this is what's been happening for eons, thus the cycle or "circle".
The space-time continuem is a fascinating subject. A person could go on for hours about the possibilites. But I think you should not worry. However this universe works, it is out of your control.

You need to relax! You don't have to understand the concept of infinity because you will only understand this when you leave your physical body anyway (in the afterlife). Live in the moment. This world is about beginnings & endings. It is concrete. You are born. You live in this beautiful & strange world for a finite number of years. You die. Your soul lives on forever. Trying to explain timelessness, the soul, Heaven, God etc to someone who has only ever known the temporal world is like trying to explain colour to a person who was born blind: you can try, but words will fall short. It is impossible to explain something in which you have no frame of reference. It has no meaning. It is too confusing. (Ok yes you could tell a blind person that blue feels cold & red feels hot etc but they still can't "see" it & colour is visual.) Someone tried to explain eternity to me once. They said that if you see the entire span of human history (which seems very long to us!) as a single grain of sand, then eternity is all the sand on the beach. You could never count the grains of sand. They are innumerable and trying to count them would drive you mad! Just let it go. Enjoy this life however long you are here & make the most of it & live in the sweet expectation that the afterlife will be even better & will never end. I picture Heaven as the best dream you ever had & which you never wake up from. Conversely Hell (for those who are evil & destroy others) would be your worst nightmare from which you could never wake up...
That's just my opinion! I used to get a headache trying to wrap my brain around the concept of how God always was, how He had no beginning, pre-existed everything. I finally just let it go & accepted that it is one of life's mysteries, the great unknowable. We live in the mortal world & it is what we understand. Someday when we achieve immortality we will understand...

Life is a circle,a continuous cycle, the earth , sun and moon are round. Every thing in nature is represented by circles. Every ending has a beginning. The circle represents continuity of life, it evolves and changes through the ages, eons ago life all but ended , the little spark that remained grew until man evolved.Wedding rings are a circle ,spiritually, they represent love everlasting.

Cyclical doesn't necessarily have to be circular. A waveform can be cyclical with no measurable beginning or ending point. A continuum is a theoretical construct that describes this possibility to us mathematically, but you can't scientifically and rationally prove it because it has irrational components as well. As with any belief, you choose based on information as you perceive it.

Time cycling in our mind only, outside of a mind time does not exist...it is timeless territory...not just time , but everything which you perceive in this world, including this world itself exist only in our mind..That had been stated many times in old manuscripts....but it creates a question who I am in relation with mind? That leads you to further to revelations, and for those you might be deified, crucified, or in modern time labeled and diagnosed...

If time is circular, it is an immense circle. The part we traverse is linear and that is all we need be concerned with.
