Quiet does not have to be silent. It is more effective to say something intelligent and strong only when you have something to say than it is to talk constantly with little value. Use your quiet time to craft what it is you want to say in a compelling way and then say it. Then be quiet again. It is a well-known fact that this sort of behavior commands respect. And, when you are being quiet, people will assume you are having all sorts of deep thoughts. :-)

Many people assume that part of being confident means being outgoing. Although being outgoing is a very common trait that people associate with being confident, it definitely is not the only trait that determines confidence.
You can show your confidence without changing yourself by doing the things you do without being nervous or showing hesitation. You just need to have a strong belief in whatever you do.

Great question. You can be confident and be quiet. You don't have to speak loudly or draw a lot of attention to yourself to give someone a friendly hello or a smile.

Confidence has nothing to do with how loud/outspoken you are. If you are confident in yourself, people will see it in you without you having to be outspoken
