There is a blockage between the skimmer and the filter. I need to know how to get rid of it? Back flush? Or?

Is the pool above ground or inground?

A separate pump attached to your vacuum hose would work best. Maybe you could get one that you could rig from a rental store. Leave the skimmer on to get better water flow through it as you vacuum.

You could try to vacuum it out using a large heavy duty wet/dry vacuum. If it fills up with water too quickly, drain the water from the pool so it is below the skimmer pipe so you are vacuuming air rather than water.

Good luck!

you can buy a device at home depot that hooks to your garden hose. it is called DRAIN KING. i'd put it it on the pump side and blow it back out the skimmer. you should be able to insert the drain king at the pump. where the skimmer lines tie in.

Swap the ends of your line to see if it frees up (if its blocked but I doubt it) it could also be an air leak at high pressure causing the loss of suction, (once the crack or Hairline splits open at high pressure the leak will remain until it's switched off and can seal again) check your lines for wear (creasing, splits etc) also check your seals aren't cracked and dry
