I have to know,what is up with this emo crap lately......all of a sudden its everywhere.what is the big deal about dressing like a freak and cutting yourself up?every opinion is wanted!

I like to think of it as another fad. At my school, the trend was shopping at Hollister and all that fun stuff and now the "thing" is getting your lip pierced, listening to emo wearing the most unflattering pants in the world, and "hating" preps saying they are conformists even though 3 months ago they looked exactly the same as the preps and they are also confroming to the new trend "emo". I find it hypocritical. but i guess its whatever floats their boats and at least they like how they dress so yea

it incredibly is not something to do with the bags of stereotypes the identify consists of however the shortcoming of individuality the belief includes. Many emos declare they are being diverse, yet yet all gown the comparable, cut back their hair the comparable and all hear to the comparable form of song etc... as a substitute of being emo, why no longer human?

Emo is a music genre...the fashion and supposed cutting trend that people tag on it are just plain idiocy.

actually i think its the gayest thing that the world has made up. though when i have had a low self esteem i have considered becoming emo
