healthy babies come in many shapes and sizes. At seven months, anywhere between 16 and 22 pounds is considered a healthy weight for boys. (Although, five percent of healthy boys weigh less than 16 pounds and five percent of healthy boys weight more than 22 pounds). boys who are 28 inches long, whatever their age, usually weigh 16 to 22 pounds.

if you mean you are pregnant, and you want to know the weight of your unborn child, by the end of the 7th month the baby should weigh about 3 pounds. if you mean a 7 month old baby, not fetus, here is a site that will fill you in on weights -
http://www.hon.ch/Dossier/MotherChild/postnatal/height_weight.html
here is a chart that shows weight ranges for babies up to 2 years old, so you can see where your child is.

There is no ideal weigt because it all depends on how big your boy was when born, they say they are supposed to double their weight in the first six months. So if he was 8lbs when born then maybe 16lbs now......dont obsess over it though, I did with mine, and he is fine....

well it depends on the height and weight at birth, like my son weighed 7lbs 4oz and was 211/2 inch tall doctor said he should weigh 21lbs at a year old, but he was wrong at 5 months my son weighed 20lbs and was 22inch tall. my son just turned 8months old a few days ago and weighs 22lbs,, guess it all depends

There is no correct answer to this. All babies are different. Depends on how they are built. All 3 of my children weighed something different at 7 months.(one was in the 80th %tile, one in the 50th %tile and one in th 60th %tile) If there was a concern, your doctor would tell you.

LET YOUR BABY BE!
Sheesh there is no ideal weight, it depends on his height, his build, etc. Some babies are chubby, some are lean. But as long as you are feeding him healthy food he will not become overweight.
