i got my bellybutton pierced a week ago and it doesn't hurt anymore and i haven't had any problems with it. i hate the barbell that they put on there and i was wondering if it would be a bad idea to change it real fast and leave the one that i like on there for several months. the piercer told me to wait 6 weeks before i changed it, but if i changed it real fast and left the new one on there would it be a bad idea??

you need to leave it alone most times for the sake of health and healing, you may not like it, but you should just leave it alone for now, you'll have all the time in the world to change it as many times as you like later

just because it doesn`t hurt doesn`t mean that it`s done healing. the piercer told you to leave it in for 6 weeks for a reason, and that`s so the piercing will heal effectively. the barbell they put is for it to heal, so i don`t blame you for not liking it, but if i were you, i`d just take care of it until 6 weeks is over. please don`t take it out, i`ve seen a girl who took it out before it healed, and it looks quite nasty.

I wouldnt incredibly evaluate it a floor piercing. Anywho I certainly have my inverse (from the backside) carried out and characteristic a "ex" suitable naval piercing. The inverse easily pinched greater then then suitable, besides the undeniable fact that it doesnt value everywhere close on the soreness scale for me (a million-10). however...youre curiously used to being "tattooed" so it shouldnt be that massive of a deal. nonetheless one medium hollow gauge needle is diverse than hundreds rapid working of "hypodermic" needles.

i got my nose pierced 2 years ago and the stud they but in was ugly so i changed it after 2 weeks even thought everyone told me not to b/c of infections and stuff, but i was ok, i think it all just depends on your body's immune system and how fast you heal. i would go for it, but make sure to do the saline (saltwater) solution a lot.

I would wait the 6 weeks. Granted, it may be okay, but if you get infected - you are gonna hate yourself, it hurts like hell.
