You lost me at engaged. I know he proposed to her but he proposes to every girl he meets. Then they slap him. He is in love with her but she is not going to commit to him or him to her until the whole Nuraku thing is over because of the wind tunnel in his hand and the fact that she wants to save her brother. Plus public showing of affection was taboo in the feudal era.

after the ending song of inuyasha movie 2, miroku had an attempt to kiss sango ( so they can follow kagome's example ), but she slap him.

idk i didnt even know that they were engaged are u sure that that happend on the show and not in a fanfiction? or if it did happen in the show maybe they are waiting for Naraku to be killed before they show any kind of intimacy
