More than just different species. Different families.

Bears belong to the Ursidae family. Eight species including the brown bear, the American black bear, the polar bear, the giant panda bear, the Asiatic black bear, the spectacled bear, the sloth bear and the sun bear.

Dogs belong to the Canidae family. Thirty-five species including the fox, wolf, coyote and jackal.

dogs did not evovle from bears however dogs did evolve from small, tree-climbing carnivorous mammals in the Oligocene period called the miacids. the miacids then evolved into 7 different families two of those families are the Canidae (dog) family and the Ursidae (bear) family. so they have the same relatives but did not evolve from one another.

No dogs are a domesticated subspecies of wolf. Dogs are distantly related to bears though, as they share a common ancestor... but dogs did not evolve from bears and neither did their wolf ancestors.

No, they are completely different. Wolves and dogs belong to the family canidae. Bears belong to ursidae. Bears are larger and their skeletons enable them to stand on two feet, whereas, dogs and their relatives cannot. Bears are omnivores. Canines are carnivores.

Though I'm not sure on the specifics, I do recall a mention on this topic in my comparative anatomy course. They are distantly related by way of a common ancestor. I'm sorry I don't have more specific information on that.
