some times tongue rings have jewels on one end and you can get nipple shields which are next to impossible to put in your tongue so ya there's a difference

there is a huge difference.....nipple rings may or may not be "rings"...tongue rings probably are more like barbells or curved barbells, and not real rings at all, unless someone gets pierced on the edge of their tongue

it relies upon what length the products of jewellery, and the piercings are. (14gauge, etc). yet i assume you should apply a tongue bar as a nipple one as they are both regularly pierced with an same length bar. yet not any opposite direction round because the nipple bar may be shorter than the tongue bar(in words of length). xxx

Yes there is a difference. If you google body jewelry then you'll be able to find some nice pictures. I know there are several pieces of jewelry that interchange and are adaptable for several piercing sites. But due to bacteria and such I'd pick different and easily identifiable jewelry for your various piercings.

yes, one is for your nipple(the round shaped darker color patch of skin on your boob) and one is for your tongue (the thing inside your mouth that allows you to taste things).
