I think Favre made the right decision. He feels the team the Packers have right now will develop into a good squad. I would never in my life question whether or not he still has the fire in him to play in the NFL.

Farve's a class act. If he thought it was time to hang the cleats.....he would do it

It is a great thing. He is an icon in the sport and if he leaves a part of the NFL will die. Even if his doesn't want to play i think he would do good as a mentor for Aaron Rodgers to develop specially under a future Hall of Famer Brett Farve

Favre coming decrease back is a physically powerful element and anyone who says Favre sucks is ignorant via fact he remains have been given a sprint some thing. individually, i do no longer think of Arron Rodgers is in a position to flow in simple terms yet, he desires a sprint greater time. Plus, be easy, who fairly observed the Packers going 8-8 with a shot on the playoffs. something of the gang is somewhat youthful and commencing as much as develope. they do no longer elect a sparkling QB, yet they do want yet another objective for Favre. this might take rigidity off motive force and grant yet another decision for Brett. they might desire to additionally concentration on the O-line in later rounds and doubtless attempt to get a RB from FA> Bottomline is that he's no longer in basic terms a good participant, yet he's likewise the face of the franchise and no person is in a position to take that place. i think of at last Hawk would fulfill that place for canopy, yet no person on offense can grow to be the face of the franchise.

Good for the reasons you stated, plus he's still better than half the quarterbacks starting right now. I'm sure there are plenty of teams that would give their QB's right arm to have Brett Favre.

I think its good for fans of the Green Bay Packers but I don't think its good for him.He has ALOT of personal problems and i think him continuing to take time away from his family by returning is bad.He is wrong when saying his team has a good future as they do not so if he does retire after next season he will be leaving with a bad record. The only good thing i see about him coming back is beating dan marino's record.Even if he did not beat that record,he has nothing to prove as hes won the superbowl before and hes put up good stats throughout his carear.i think he should of let Aaron Rogers take over as he has a great future.

Bad thing, it's time for Brett to go and the Packers to start build this team for the future. Why do you think the Pack went 4-12.

BAD hes so out of place on such a young team, stop keepin aaron rodgers from starting he needs to play so he can be as good as i think he can be. Everyone loves him right now and if he stinks up the field they might lose respect

I think its GREAT! Not only is he the best QB on the team (I say the whole league, but I am biased) but he makes the game so much more fun to watch. And from a business standpoint, he brings in tons of money from all his jerseys and such! I love LOVE love Favre! He's the BEST!

I probably will get lots of thumbs down for this but I think it is a bad idea, right now B Favre is a hero and iconic in the sport, he has nowhere to go now but down. The guy can't help the fact that his body is aging and he can't keep pace with younger QB's etc..I think it's better to go out while you are on top of your game...

Definitely good. He won't make the team win less games, which is first priority. And the great thing is can break the yards and TDs records this year. He deserves it, and it'll be great for Packer fans and his legacy.
