I am sorry you are getting such hateful responses. People don't understand your question. I don't think they are reading your additional information. Of the methods available this is a good option.

I did not have an abortion. However, I did have a miscarriage and had to have the D&C. They didn't scrape the baby though. They used the vaccum. They put me out, cause I wasn't sure I could emotionally handle that. It's a sad thing to know your baby is being sucked out of you. I had this done in October and I still have really irregular periods. In fact, I've had 7 since then. But, other than that, I haven't had any problems. You should talk to you doctor though, cause when I had mine, there was a whole list of complications that can occur, the most serious is that they can poke a whole in your uterus. Also, if they miss some of the tissue, it can cause problems. I am totally against abortion, so I would suggest adoption. However, it is your life and you can do as you please. Just ask your doctor about all the risks and see what they suggest.

You want info on a "vacuum" abortion? Here, here's a link to a site that has a video of one, including a sonogram of what's going on with the baby during it.

This is off subject a bit but why have an abortion there are so many people in this world who can't have children and would love to take your and raise it in a good home. Don't kill an innocent child. My husband and I are trying to have kids but we can't and if adoption wasn't so expensive at this time for us we would adopt them all.

I would think that you could, however, it seems like it would cause some bleeding problems. But it is likely that they would give you a clotting agent or something similar.

I haven't, but a friend of mine tried it. It didn't work, but she did get into the Guiness Book of World Records with the world's largest dust bunny!

That's a pretty big myth. A vacuum does not have enough suction power to perform major surgery.
