eat 6 small meals a day,....low fat ones, and low in carbohydrates,..no meat and no soda,...a little walking thorwn in,..won't hurt.

Well...that's one problem with America today. Everyone is looking for the easy way out. If you've ever noticed. Even these weight loss programs tell you to exercise and eat a balanced meal. They are just trying to make money off of you and your just lazy. So go out and walk...take the stairs....do something...get active..don't sit on your *** eating Twinkies and taking a diet pill thinking your gonna lose weight.

Even if you are dieting to lose weight, its unhealthy to not excercise at all. Most likely, you'll have to excercise at one point or another because without excerising your body will not be able to burn fat or calories that you consume.
However, if you do want to lose weight, I recommend going on a high vegetable and fruit diet and eliminating junk food for a long time. Even if its only 20 minutes of walking, its easy to do. Plus you lose weight faster with the help of excerise.

Well, there's a couple of things that have worked for me. First of all, I cut red meat out of my diet as much as possible and eat poultry instead (I'm not much of a fish fan). If you go that route, just be aware there's loads of fat in the skin. Also, if you consume a lot of sugar like I do, consider drinking diet soda instead. I know, I know. Most of them suck, but Diet Dr. Pepper's not too bad. If you sweeten your cofee or tea, try using Splenda instead of sugar. I can't really tell the difference. Good luck on losing those pounds.

i read about a study they did where they mae a group of people eat a grapefruit with every meal, and another group drink grapefruit juice with every meal.
they were told to continue their eating and drinking habits as normal and in 3 months all of them had lost weight, the group eating grapefruits lost the most.
apparently grapefruits have something in them that speeds up your metabolism slightly (i think) and helps you lose weight.
