rap musicians have to have a good sense of rhythm and timing and tone, but in order to "sing," you need pitch, too. In order to "sing," you need to "sing" different notes instead of just talking in rhythm.
no, rap musicians are NOT really singers, and rap "music" is not really music.

Rap musicians are definately singers.
Music comes in many many forms. Even a drummer is a musician/singer.
Rapping is a skill an art, and they are singing. Just in a different format.

Salam :) i'm a Muslim teen residing in Canada. I placed on hijab alhamdullilah and that's for the main suitable section familiar appropriate right here provided that the i stay in a brilliant city with a brilliant Muslim inhabitants. I do get the few ignorant comments and idiots in college whether who ask stuff like "yo have been given a bomb under there hahaha". besides the undeniable fact that the toughest section is being diverse out of your pals. Being a Muslim, events, alcohol relationship boys wearing revealing outfits etc is haram, and on a similar time as i do now no longer choose to try this to boot, that's fairly awkward to would desire to describe why i do now no longer do it to those that evaluate it easily an element of being an adolescent and its common to them. Muslims residing in Muslim international places fairly have it greater advantageous available mutually because it consists of installation in. And with nutrition that's fairly troublesome yet I continuously attempt to envision the label if i'm uncertain of the climate. yet i would not wanna be diverse faith no undergo in strategies how complicated it gets and the way diverse i've got have been given self belief from all and sundry else, i'm happy to be Muslim :)

rappers dont sing. they just talk.
musicians play instruments. rappers dont play instruments so they arent musicians.
some rappers have talent on how they say what they do. most rappers (like otehr forms of music) are just people that are mediocre with nothing special with no talent. they are the ones that wont be rememebered 4-5 years from now.

No, they arent singers, they are rappers. But they do have tremendous talent, flow and rhyming ability that many rock/pop/country artists lack. If you dont beleave they have talent, listen to a fast twista or eminem song, and then try to imitate that with your own lyrics. near impossible.

i dont think they juss tlk..but i also dont think that there singer'sz..for instants 50 cent raps..but da moment he tries to sing he sounds bad..n he messes up da song..same wif his rival ja rule..but ja rule tries 2 mak himself sound better..by addin a gurl'sz voice 2 his song'sz.. i do think it is a talent cuz not many people cud rap..keep a steedy beat..n sound gud all at da same time.. it'sz either they rap or they sing

Rap musicians are probably more creative then you will ever be even if all they do is "talk".

No, but I guess they have to have some level of musicianship to be a rapper, because they need to be able to keep a beat, and hold a pitch and make up lyrics
