I love to cook! Do you?

I love to cook and I like creating new and unusual taste sensations. My husband appreciates it and I enjoy that. My teenagers, however, don't think I'm that great of a cook (little do they know), and hate that I try to feed them so many vegetables. I cook things like Pork Medallions with Ginger Pears and Chutney and they turn their noses up at it. Go figure.

Anyway, there are certainly times when I would rather not cook, but my daughter is pre-diabetic and eating out is just not a great option for us. Neither is most convenience food. So cook I must, tired or not.

I love cooking. I had some guests over for christmas and I've spent three days preparing the christmas buffet. I considered those three days the most relaxing, fulfilling days of the entire year. Nobody understands why, but it's really true. Cooking is also an art form even though a lot of people don't see it like that. And I can put a lot of creativity in it.

I love to cook too, but I'm really bad at it. Most of the time I cook because I have to. Occasionally, I can experiment a little but it usually doesn't go to well.

Yes...I cook and bake because I love to. The baking part got difficult this year, because I have been changing all of my eating to be a lot more healthy, so if I bake now, I might allow myself one treat and give the others away to church groups, other family members, etc. I watch Food Network the way some people watch CSI, etc., and every year I eagerly anticipate Hell's Kitchen with Gordon Ramsey...to say nothing of watching the F-Word on BBC American and Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares on same.

Both. I have to cook for the kids but occasionally I'll go all out because I want to. I really don't like it too much because it takes time away from something else that I enjoy more than anything...*wink*
