In the future I see myself living somewhere in Europe. I was born there and lived a few years and I love it. But where in Europe should I live? I like beautiful sceneries of nature and countryside. I like the narrow streets and beautiful building sturctures. I like a mix of an old-fashioned city with a modern side to it. (LIke a place to party, like clubs, bars, ect.) If anyone here is from Europe tell me where you think is a cool place to live and why.

another good option is to come here as an expatriate with one of the big US companies...

take Luxembourg for example, this is full of American banks, and they all send people here as expats...

same goes fro Amsterdam, London, Bruxelles, Paris, Frankfurt, Milan, Dublin ....

and if the worst comes to the worst, there's always FriendFinder.com :)

As for where, ooh that's a difficult one...Dresden is a great place, all those funky bars, and that stunning Cathedral... but for me it's gotta be Granada in Southern Spain...or perhaps Salamanca... can't choose !

good luck...

The first queston should be: Do you have a European passport? A citizenship from one of the countries which is part of the EU?

Because otherwise your dream is likely going to stay just that: a dream. The barriers for emigrating to Europe are set very high, it either takes lots of money or lots of brains and the will to work your behind off. (Or you marry an European guy.)

Currently the best way into Europe for an American citizen is to complete a degree at a university in Europe. Most do Masters or PhD here on a scholarship, so they focus more on finding the right university instead of the right town.

Sorry to bust your bubble that brutally.

BTW, I like Dresden in Germany. Hip student town with a good university and lots of Baroque buildings and tons of history.
