I have glasses so I am afraid the light will be magnified. I am worried that I will go blind.

The lasers that are sold as pointers are supposed to be safe, but the literature that comes with them says to avoid shining them in someones eyes. To play it safe, you should avoid having it shined into your eyes.

I'll bet I could make this child stop shining it in people's eyes.

There a highly remote chances of damage to your eyes, i.e. Retina, your are the LUCKY one who was wearing a magnified glass and such the light source was dispersed.So chances are virtually nil.

yes my friends eye he is a teacher was damaged by a red laser pointer he sued and won 60 grand in damages
