I need to know what covered wagons that were used by the pioneers made out of. i cant find the answer anywhere on the internet.
PLEASE HELP.

I think they were made out of animal skins, back then and I guess still today they don't waist any part of the animal. They also had looms to make fabric so it might've been that. I would say leather, because it was more redily available to them.

The wagons used were called Canestoga (spelling?) Wagons. The only materials available to make these from in that era were wood, (the primary material) and metals like iron and bronze for the fittings and axles. They had to be made of naturally available materials as they often needed to be repaired enroute...
