The mid-70s saw Mick and The Boys at their best, no doubt. They commanded huge salaries because they knew they could pack in maximum capacities in any stadium or music hall they set up and jammed in back in the day.

Historically, The Stones have an impressive discography of successful albums--many etched in pop culture as social icons--and an even more impressive list of hit songs.

And even to this day, Mick and The Boys still WOW today's music crowds; here's a band that started BEFORE their parents were born---and albeit they show signs of age, they show NO signs of slowing down in their wrestle with time......which IS on their side.

In the Brian Jones era they sounded like old blues, british invasion pop and had lots of Beatles influence.

The best was The Mick Taylor era.
"Let It Bleed"
"Sticky Fingers"
"Exiles on Main Street"
"Goats Head Soup"
"Its Only Rock n Roll"
Was when they really made that gritty, sexy, dirty raunch blues rock that made them the best at the time.

after that the were good but they got goofy..
