Democratic-REpublican was an early political party in the US. Not the same as Democrats or Republicans.

Don't you just love it when people show how truly Historically Illiterate they are and have no idea that there once was a political party called the Democratic-Republican Party. Jefferson and Madison were interesting but I always liked James Monroe for the Monroe doctrine.

Andrew Jackson. He was the president who had people make the Democrat party. Helped every citizen.
