He needs another year or two before we'll know if he's the real deal. He definitely showed he deserves to be the starter next year.

For everyone who doesn't understand the situation in Buffalo - Shut up, you don't need to throw your two cents in.
For anyone who wants to hear logic, here it is. Losman will have to prove himself this year. At the end of this past season, he made huge strides and showed he could be good enough to lead the Bills back to the playoffs. There has been no consistency of systems in Buffalo for the past few years, and Jauron will hopefully provide that. This team almost beat Indy in Indy, really did beat San Diego, but the officials blew 2 huge calls which were both Bills touchdowns, as well as a couple that broke momentum, and lost to a decent Titans team who is on the way up, as well as the Ravens, who would have been a very difficult win in Baltimore.
That being said, the team just needs an offensive lineman or two to protect Losman, and help the running game of McGahee (who needs to leave Buffalo) and Anthony Thomas. But with dangerous receivers, and a good line to give Losman some more time (he doesn't have enough right now), he can lead this team deep into the playoffs if he matures as he did last season.

Losman isn't really the man, but why give up on him. Maybe get a rookie they can build and focus on. Oh and DON'T try to make that rookie Jim Kelly. Let that guy be as QB of his own.

I think JP Losman can be the man but he must develop and get some support but getting a major backup would not hurt them

I think you give him one more season and if it doesnt work out, you will need to go in a new direction.
