why are white people so keen on political correctness?

I do not see any other race doing a similar thing as the political correct business.

Being pink and not white, as a black is brown and not a Blackman or woman and a Paki may not come from Pakistan. As a Scotsman, is British. It’s amazing that anyone can ask this question with out being moderately racist. Most good hearted, nice people would always try to understand others and not take the easily lead way of accepting an indoctrination or religion that was pressed on to the unformed mind of a infant. Why are whites so keen on political correctness, it depends on your definition of political correctness is. What is correct to whites is not what everyone else perceives as correct.

Because we are too damn frightened of being accused of being racists, down to the minutia of using words with "black" in them. We are too damn frightened of being told that a black man has rights and that we should respect them. Funny how it never works the other way. If we insult a black person, we can be taken to court for racial predjudice, however if we were to take a black man to court for insulting us, we would be laughed out of the place. One example, I've seen in newsagents magazines such as "Black Hair", "Black Style" and exhibitions on Black Music, Black Art, not to mention the MOBO'S (Music Of Black Origin awards). What would happen if we put out the same, but with the title starting with white? We would enter a bloody war and be crucified as being racist. Where is the balance and who is at fault? Not the white man.

When the black man removes the chip (or maybe a full bag of potatoes in some cases) from his shoulder, we can start to be normal again.

NB: I have, and have had friends of many origins, so do NOT take the above as being racist, if you do, then obviously two bags of potatoes on your shoulders aren't enough.

Because throughout history it was the white man that went to other countries and opressed people... no other nation or country is guilty of this. I think instead of trying to be overly pc, people should just learn to respect each other. I mean, why am I called African American? I'm more offended by that than being called black. But I'd prefer being called by my name than by either.
