its retarded and money grabbing but when you have a boyfriend you might as well take advantage and join it, its kinda romantic, if your not a romantic person

I actually have always 'loved' Valentine's Day, even when I didn't have 'someone special' in my life, because it's actually about a lot 'more' than just 'romantic love' and cards and gifts. St. Valentine was a person who really lived a long time ago, who gave 'dowries' to a group of sisters who didn't have 'enough money' to get 'good marriages' ... so to me Valentine's Day is about CHARITY as much as it is about 'romantic love' ... but I also now 'love' Valentine's Day because that is also the 'anniversary' of the day my husband and I got married ... and this is our 10th coming up, but we also 'love each other more every day' and will be together 'forever and beyond.'

i don't care. it's just a day where some people wear red or pink, and then restaurants, hotels, and the card companies make a ton of money.
