Bleh, personally, I don't like pearls, but mother absolutely loves them. It all just depends on the girl and what she likes. I think that if I had to really choose and had to wear a pearl, I'd wear the black pearls. I think they're pretty, but I've never worn them.

haha, that's pretty awesome. I would like it. It depends on how much your girlfriend wants to work at getting the gift...makes it all the nicer though.

It really depends on the person because there are some people who do and some people who don't. :/ Try asking people who know the person you're planning to give them to so you can find out if they'd like it or not. :]

i think it's sweet. i found a shop that does this in the mall. they have a bowl of oysters and they all have pearls in them, but obviously they vary in color and traits. They sell the necklaces to hold them. Idk if i'd wear the pearl, but the experience would be fun.

I personally don't like "fancy" jewelry, but if your girl likes that sort of thing then I think that is a cute idea for her. =)
