Yes, you can get pregnant on the pill. Most pills are 99% effective, when used properly. When you skip a pill or miss a pill it raises your chances. If you want to be safe, you can take a pregnancy test anywhere from 1 to 7 days after the first day of your missed period to see if you are pregnant.

The pill is only about 96-99% effective, depending on which kind you take, and if you take them correctly (read the pamphlet included in the package). So yes, you can get pregnant while on the pill. You don't actually have to ingest the placebo pills, but it does help you to stay in the routine of taking the pill at the same time everyday.

most definitely. ive had 3 friends that this happened to...one didnt find out until she was 5 months because she was a little heavier to begin with and she was on the pill, so she didnt even expect it. but yeah for sure, there is always a possibility, its not totally 100 percent effective. if you dont want to be pregnant i wouldnt rely on birth control only, i would still be careful around your ovulating days. if you have stopped taking it your body is probably just not used to it yet. im sure you will get your period just fine, but there is always a possibility

Going off of the pill can throw your body out of the normal range for periods. I had to wait for a few weeks until I had a period and then it took months for the next one, eventually they slightly evened out for me, but have always been irregular. The only thing 100% is abstinence. If you are unsure, take a hpt. More than likely it is just your body becoming used to not taking the pill, it can take up to several months to regulate...

Yes you can. My mom got prego on the pill once. The patch twice and the shot once. It is possible i think it might be a good idea to take a test in a week or so.

you can actually get pregnant while taking birth control pills. my mom got pregnant with me while on birth control. she said that she had gotten sick for about a week and was taking antibiotics. the antibiotics cancelled out the birth control and here i am! or maybe you skipped a day? whatever it was, its not impossible. Good luck with everything! God bless!

Yes even if taken exactly as prescribed it is not 100%.

The birth control pill does not effect pregnancy tests, so go buy one and use it for your own peace of mind.
