I've been running and lifting for the past 6 months and have lost about 10 lbs. I've lifted and ran in the past and I always get to the point where I get a little bit toned however my chest and arms never get bigger. It seems like I can lose most of my stomach but never quite get the six pack. Likewise with my chest and arms. They may show a little bit of definition but never seem to really "grow". Does anyone have any ideas of what I can do? Maybe different exercises, diet or even supplements? Right now I don't take any vitamins or supplements. Thanks in advance for any help!

Lift heavier weight with fewer repetitons: it'll bulk you up. Also, cardiovascular exercises--running, cycling, swimming--which burn lots of fat, will help you lose your stomach ... couple that with abdominal exercises (sit-ups, crunches, etc.). Finally, your diet is important--it does little good to run five miles then eat a cheeseburger and fries. I'm no nutritionist, but I know you want to avoid fat if you're trying to trim down (your stomach). Good luck.

Hey there. All you need to do is get on the floor and do a bunch of sit-ups, crunches, and other ab exercises. I may be a girl, but I know this because I'm trying to tone my stomach too. Good luck!

You need to isolate. After you get rid of the "flab" you concentrate on specific areas such as the abs with crunches and sit ups; and the arms with curls.
Check a gym for more advice.

in order to get six pack abbs you have to starve yourself. its all about diet try eating just tuna in water for three months. with vegetables just the combination of the two drink only water, its not easy but i can assure you that your body will be cut up and your abbs will be cut . any carbs or fat are really not recomended . body builders tell you its all about diet
