You hear reggae singers (the real ones, not the Jafakins) doing covers of country songs all the time, but when's the last time a country artist cover a reggae tune?

I suppose you have a point, but rock is better than both.

country by itself is dull an predictable, and reggae isnt ever angry or frustrated like real people are, and feel.

besides Alternative rock can be almost anything.

It doesn't, but even the worst country song is 100% better than the "best" rap "song".
