I live in a city where tons of people pan handle. I was at a traffic light for three cycles the other day. Durring that 5-7 minute time frame, I saw 2-3 cars give a panhandler what looked to be a dollar bill, durring each light cycle...so you figure in a 5-7 minute time period, that guy made $6-$9 bucks. Say he stays out there 3-5 hours...pretty good take, huh?

You would think that in order to answer this question honestly you would need to go to the source and I'm not sure how many street people have computers and access to the internet.
Maybe the performers, but pan handlers?

One day you could make $1 and the next day make $1,000. It's feast one day and famine the next. Although you should do fairly well during tourist season. As a general rule, performers do better than people just asking for money. If you give people something in return, such as entertainment, they are more likely to part with their cash.
Good luck!
