The last Christian leader I heard preaching about the evils of worldly goods, come to find out, spent $28,000 dollars for a salt and pepper shaker and $2,000 for a pair of cuff links. All on money donated by church members. Show me one famous church leader that doesn't have a thousand times more money than the average person will ever make.

Well I'm not sure what kind of point you're trying to make exactly...but yes there's definitely a connection.
I find it odd how ignorant some people's answers were, despite the fact that you were quoting the Satanic Bible completely. Gah...stupid people.
Satanism, like capitalism, is a concept and structure completely immersed in self-interest. There is no other goal than worldly success, especially in the case of Anton Lavey's writing. Although, it gets confusing after a certain point; there are MANY different varieties of Satanism. I'm not one myself, but there was a time when I was deeply interested in it and invested in a lot of research.

Either you are criticizing America or you are just trying to push your personal beliefs. Either way, you are misguided in your comparison. The satanic Belief system is a simple description of human nature that could be applied to any government. The Satanic believers are right about one thing. If you don't believe that there is a reward beyond this world, you should live it up now and take everything you can get out of this one right now. You have nothing to look forward to but eternal torment.
I think that you recognize that God planted the seed of eternity in your heart. The devil doesn't want you to water it.

Tell you what pal...
You have the power to reject satanism. AND you have the power to reject capitalism. There are places to live where you will never be subjected to the effects of capitalism again. No big privately owned companies, no private wealth, no free enterprise temptations AND none of the fruits of any of that sinfulness.
You could start by trying Cuba or North Korea. Don't let the door hit you in the butt on your way out!
Buffoon.

Well, all things are possible...your question made me ponder about a bible verse....
No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other; or else he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You can't serve both God and Mammon" Matthew 6:24

Capitalism is why most Americans live well. Have you had to live under any other system of government? Try talking to some who have.
Few capitalists waste their time reading tripe like the Satanic Bible.

You make a very valid point. Revelations details how the anti-christ will return and will led man kind to its ruins. Is Capitalism his vessel? Money is the source of all evil I say. Lets see if one of these political leaders gets killed, comes back to life and declares himself Christ.
Our current state of war is nearly prophetic.

To sum up, capitalism is the economics of greed, I got mine and I want more and screw those I left behind. That is the way I see it but I do not think that full socialism is right either, I do think things like health care and energy ought to be run by the government in order to provide equal access to all.
