Do you mean their own films and programmes, or ones others have made?
If it's the latter, while I'm not an actor, I do love knowing how films are made and the technical side of it. If it's a good film, you can just switch off and enjoy it and then think about it after...Although, it'd probably be weird watching people you knew in a film...

the two. If a action picture is somewhat that good then I won't notice blunders via fact the story and the performing would be so good that i could no longer probable notice something. i've got sat via movies the place i'd desire to allow you to be conscious of the continuity themes with prop placement, cloth cabinet or maybe lighting fixtures... actual no longer a physically powerful element. i be conscious of human beings get annoyed! i'm lots greater effective now at attempting to in basic terms watch and revel in than i became some years in the past. i do no longer inevitably %. aside performances as lots via fact anyone strategies issues in a different way. If although i became up for a place and that i see somebody else carry out it, this is an entire different tale! LOL :-D Marianne

i'm sure they lose some of the joy especially in their own work, where an alterate take on a scene might pop up after they see it.
But since movies are typically filmed out of order a good story can still be enjoyable. also they're likely several months removed from the work they did by the time it premieres.

Every succsessful film cast gets to miss on big hit a year, the most people I felt sorry for were Johnny Depp and Hugh Jackman.
Im sure the fat pay checks more than make up for it!

They're critics just like the rest of us except they have an inside scoop on what is required to make a great film.

I used to work in live stage theater with actors who had parts in movies (Seattle/Vancouver) and it seemed as though they were watching the actors act.
They're into the production values and casting and performances of individual actors, whose careers they follow.
And sometimes, they enjoy a good story, too.

I suppose you can still get lost in the film (or play) because you let your imagination cover up the fact that you know that its not real, just like everyone else.

It makes you look at a production from a different point of view. Knowing how things are done sort of makes it more interesting, and suprising when new aspects pop up.
It's very much the same for theatre as well.
