My Grandpa made me take my driving test even though I wasn't ready.I was so nervous. The instructor was REALLY mean. When she got in the car I said "Hi" and she ignored me.I knew I was in for it. I totally failed.I cried all the way out the door and all the way home. I think I was more upset because she was so mean and rude. Two weeks later I went back praying I didn't get the same lady. Guess what, yep same one. At first my heart sank. Then I thought hey, I'm not going to let this rude person ruin my day. When she got in the car I said nothing to her and she said nothing to me. I just followed her instructions. At one point she asked me to do a 3 point turn around. I did a U turn because I had plenty of room. I already figured she was going to flunk me. She asked me why I didn't do the turn she asked for. I said "why would I do that when I have plenty of room to do a U turn?"She asked me to do it again so I did. Well she ended up passing me. I was so surprised, but happy!

I kept getting my rights & lefts confused. When the instructor said "Turn left at the light" - I turned right. And when she said "Turn right at the next block" - I turned left. I realized it after I did it & was pretty embarrassed so I kept apologizing. Other than not knowing my left from my right I must have done well because I passed. Phew!!

I was so nervous I put the car in neutral instead of drive by accident at first, so when I stepped on the gas it just made a whole lot of noise and we didnt go anywhere. Haha. I just said "oops" and looked sheepishly at the guy, who just stared at me. That was really it...I hit the curb twice while parallel parking, but didn't hit the cones, do he ended up passing me, but said I was lucky and should watch my curbs better. Okay.

I hit (really a slight bump) a car as we started the test. That immediately ended the test. I was also in a car I had not practiced much in.

took my test in HARD rain. with visibility at about 25 feet.
had to hold the wheel really hard to not aquaplane when i did my emergency stop.
we ran into fog by the time i had to parallel park and 3 point turn.

and despite all those weather problems, I passed ;-)

when I was practicing before the test--I was doing the parallel parking thing in my grandmother's driveway and I was not quite out of her garage enough and I hit the bumper and cracked the wood on the side of her garage I was so scared to tell my mom.

the only reason you get nervous is because you are scard that you are going to fail, and even though im not ready to drive, i think its pretty hard!
