Yes I know the philosophy, but in reality it does not take into account the human condition so it fails.

Communists believe in 'class equality'. They also say that every person owns every thing and everyone else. They basically take Socialism alot further, with the reason being 'the greater good'. They control the country's wealth and distribute it in the hopes of keeping people at an even level.. making people equal. The cons? Well, it's naturally contradicting. How can one person be slave to someone else, if the other person is a slave to them? And obviously, if you want to distribute wealth evenly, you need people to distribute it. Therefore, you give people cushy and well paying jobs that they'll NEVER want to vacate. Then all the ideal of class equality is pretty much out the window, since the entire system is dependent on making a new elite ruling class, the distributors.

Share the wealth and equality for all. But it doesn't work because nobody would have any reason to be ambitious. Besides that, the government has always ended up ruling with an iron fist and nobody has any rights except the upper echelons in the Communist Party.

(You are actually refering to Socialism, or Marxism) In practice it is all about equality, however the examples we have, Soviet Union, Cuba, North Korea, China, and Vietnam revel vast differences between the eliete of the party and the rest of the populace. Socialism while sounding like a great system to the poor almost always leads to Military dictatorships such as Stalin's Russia, or Castro's Cuba.

always sounds great, however the axiom of choice says there is always a top and bottom. it is IMPOSSIBLE to bring the bottom to the top so to try to create an equilibrium you MUST push the top down. While doing that you stifle growth and creates a stagnant society. as this moves on in time you are passed by while you make slow regressions until the collapse. All because of class warfare. Sounds like a winner sign me up..
