If it's a first date, then I wouldn't say it's a pity date, it's more of a "I don't really want to waste going out with you on a Friday or Saturday night in case you suck".

i could think of so because of the fact the subsequent day is thank you"giving"and the nighttime till now he "gave"you a date...i understand i'm amazing ...... and that i'm speaking approximately this wed(on the instant the twenty 2nd)the different wed i would not understand ,i'm MARRIED!
