Johnny cash has done a number of cover versions and has sung the song with Kris. There are several different Kris Versions, my favourite being the version from the album "Me and Bobby Mcgee". Waylon Jennings has also covered the song on his album "The Taker - Tulsa".
If you liked this song, I'd recommend many more of Kris's songs - he is an amazing songwriter. 'The Very Best Of Kris Kristofferson', 'Kristofferson' or 'The Austin Sessions' albums are all a great starting place, many featuring his brilliant song writng skills.
