I'm a Pampered Chef Consultant and I love it.
I used to sell Mary Kay (had to carry an inventory), Princess House (the kits/products ave VERY HEAVY) and Amway (company wants you to purchase from them for most of your personal needs) Most of the time you just couldn't get customers!
I started with this last April and took January off (my father passed away and I just didn't WANT to do anything). And my business is STILL going strong.
The product pretty much sells itself. I just tell people that I sell Pampered Chef and THEY WANT get the product!!
There's really not that much time involved either. If you want any more info, please email me. Good luck!

Depending on your current situation and the time you have to put into a part-time business there is one business I am aware of that offers an exceptional opportunity for someone partime. It is a company called Jerky Direct. You can check it out at http://www.jerkydirect.us. The business plan is simple and the upside is huge for someone willing to put in some time.

I have a small business in health and wellness. I have found that people are no longer looking to fill their houses with a bunch of products that they buy from their own "store" because your largest market is baby boomers, and most of them are empty nesters now. What they are looking for now is health and anti-aging. It is fast becoming a trillion dollar industry. Our company doubled its sales last year in the U.S. and quadrupled in Canada, so you can see the product is catching on very quickly. We were recently named the fastest growing company in the Direct Sellers Association.
Our compensation plan offers excellent bonuses and the company offers a 90 day, empty bottle money back guarantee, so people have nothing to lose!

Candles, bath and body, and makeup are just a few products that people typically use on a regular basis. Look for a reputable company, in good standing, with quality products, at reasonable prices.
