i am 9weeks post partum and bled up until almost 7weeks after having him.
i started getting menstral type cramps this morning and sure enough i was bleeding, very very lightly. i checked again and nothing new but a yellowish color.
i have a pap smear this week and wonder if i should still go.
could this be my first period after the baby. its usually extrememly heavy..

i shouldnt of said yellow. but it was brownish...
also when i wipe there is blood, but not enough to go on the pad... TMI i know.

It sounds like either old blood or a possible infection,
Get it checked straight away

Honey, you're fine. All sorts of stuff comes out after a baby. I had 3 C-sections. Give it some time but it is important to go for your 6 wk check up.

call Dr. office and tell them that you think you have started but it turned yellow....and should you still come.....More than likely they will speak to the nurse about it and call you back.......but periods should not be yellow.
