either throw them away or use clear nail polish
the first one speaks for it self and for the nail polish idea just use the clear ones and let it dry over night them repeat the step like 2 times and it should look good... but if teh run is really big them buy a new pair b-caz it is really hard to sew panty hose and most of the time afte u use the sewing machine... the hose looks really really weird!!!!!!!!!!!

Another material that will work (to stop the run from spreading further) is silicone adhesive (sealer), the stuff that you would use to caulk your bathtub. Clearly, you would need to use the clear silicone, as opposed to the colored varieties. When silicone cures, it is soft and flexible, as opposed to hard and, well, inflexible. Although I haven't tried this method, it seems like it should work. The downside though is that silicone typically takes 12 - 24 hours to cure. Nail polish takes what, 5 minutes?

clear nail polish works a little bit to mend them, but more to stop the run. so does hairspray.
