I have this friend who is one of the so called "popular" kids at my school. I told her this HUGE secret and told her not to tell. She told and got VERY mad at me. We are friends again but I am not sure I want to be. I do because I want to become a "popular" girl, but I dont because I feel like I aint really her friend. We play the same insturment in band and we are the only two so we have to be together almost the whole day. And when she was mad at me it feels weird in band because I have no one to talk to. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

I would be nice to her so u have someone to talk to.But u made the mistake of telling her a secret so don't do that again.There is nothing wrong with being polite to her and talk with her.Just always remember she is not a true friend.She is just a accuantance.

just because u r friends with someone does not make u popular.u have to b popular for just being u.u seem like a nice person to b around with so y do u want to b popular?i had this girl last year (i was new cuz i just moved to the state) and she was a big liar and she was only my friend cuz she thought i was popular.and wasn't that stupid?i just moved there and i was popular?nevr.i don't get popularity.and.........................oh my god this is long and i don't want u reading all of this.so u can e-mail me for more.i think i would want to talk to u more.

Just talk to her normally, but don't hang around with her all the time just because shes popular, you know being popular isnt everything. You deserve a better friend. =)

Just be nice. You don't have to let her know her "status" with you. When you see her at school, be nice. Be nice to everyone, even the unpopular kids. You'll become very popular, very quickly that way.

you know if she was your friend she wouldnt have told anyone. and get over this popularity matter please! you can still be friends with her but like leave it low key and dont tell her things that you dont want revealed. let her know that you dont trust her ......that way she will try to earn your trust back again and then you will truly know if she is the kind of friend that you want
