In reality, it would definitely make a sound but since nobody is there,nobody will hear the sound. Logically speaking, it would not be a phenomenal event bcoz there will be no viewers around to witness the sound.

Sound is a vibration carried by the airwaves. The interpretation of sound inside your ear and your brain is a different story.
Presumably the possum that the tree falls on might hear the crash, just a bit too late.

I would say yes. Even though nobody heard it, it doesn't mean it didn't happen. And maybe a little birdie in the sky was flying over and witnessed it.
