Kung Fu (from the 1970's). Bruce Lee created the idea for the show and they stole it off him and cast David Carradine as they didn't think anyone would watch an Asian hero on tv.

Had a friend of mine who was a bit character on that show several times during its run-- did quite well for himself for it
to have been a part-time, now and again contract !!!
