nah, you don't need an iTunes account to upload music to your iPod, you just need to go to apple.com and download itunes. Then you import all of your cd's and such to itunes and then upload them into your iPod. Now if you want to purchase music from itunes then you need an account. But if you already have the music then you don't.

if you have itunes, chances are you already have an itunes account

you don't need to give them your credit card info to have an account. I just buy the prepaid cards at best buy and just keep redeeming those, so i can still get songs without giving them all my info

Ipods require video clips to be in .mp4 format. I often acquire action picture torrents in .avi format then basically convert them. i take advantage of Videora and it incredibly works incredibly solid (plus that's loose). As for music, you do no longer certainly choose it in a particular format. just about all songs are in .mp3 in any case. And no, you do no longer would desire to acquire something from iTunes in case you do no longer choose. i take advantage of limewire too :)

You can DL songs from places like YorMP3.net, LimeWire, BearShare, or any other DL place. Just download iTunes from www.itunes.com for free, put ur songs in there, and plug your iPod in.
