I DO. It's another commercial strategy to get peoaple to spend money onh useless gifts in the name of a romantic "holiday". The pressure is, you're cold-hearted if you don't play along.

I say, if you care for someone, don't wait until valuentine's day to do something romantic and special. If you're true to that, then what do you need Valentine's Day for? A big turn-off for me.

Lol, well I'm single, so I guess you know what's coming out of me.

But I think that Valentine's Day shouldn't be any different from any other day if you're in love with someone, and so I wish people would stop making it be so overrated.

It can be, unless you have someone to make it exciting.

The commercial side gets pretty boring - restaurants packed with couples eating the same set menus..that's boring!

Boredom to me would be watching paint dry.... Valentines to me is just plain stupid due to the fact that so many people who can't afford it go out and spend money on stupid teddy bears and candy crap simply to say "I love you" to someone.

I will put more money in my investments and sit back and watch all the idiots blowing the money they don't have.

aaaaaaaaaaaaagh life is good !!!

: ) HAPPY VALENTINES !!!

Kinda. For the first few years of knowing my husband, I wanted the "big deal," flowers, dinner out, etc. Now, it's like "Who cares?" It's a bother to go out with the crowds. We'll just go out when we go out--and we can't afford presents.

Yes, I do think it's pretty boring. And I hate it when people ask what I'm gonna do....
ugh
