I'm pretty sure you know about how hard your brain works, right? Well, those dreams you have are really just little pieces of your memory cells jumbled up together to form (you got it!) dreams! I'm not really sure what levitation is tho, but I hope what I mentioned can help you out a little bit!

there are more kinds of dreams...some just help you get out of the stressfull things during the days, some give you solutions to your problems, some have no sense, some are trying to worn you about something...dreams about something lik elevitation ...it says that you are in another dimension when you have dreams like this..but I don't know as a fact..anyway...it looks like a nice dream...so don;t worry. enjoy, and maybe you;ll find out why you have this dream any soon.

Your question is a two fold one.
First question answered:
Why do we have dreams?
Unfortunately there is no definative answer to this question. Many theorists have delved on dreams and why they exist.
More information: http://psych.ucsc.edu/dreams/Library/purpose.html
As for the second part of your question:
Subject to intrepetation. Perhaps this isn't the best place to ask this but I suggest you go to someone (therapist, etc) and talk about this dream. Perhaps once you shed light on why you dream about this particular one, it will stop. There must be a deeper reason.

I think 1 of the reasons we have dreams is that our brains never sleep. and the random firing of nerve cells in our brains that is then transmitted to another is necessary for our brain cells to keep the current going, keep us alive. I also think that sometimes our brain "try" to explain physical sensations that it feels when we're asleep or some pain in the body, a kind of feedback mechanism that we "see" simply because it is the seat of our visual function.

Dreams are another way for us to reenact what happened in a certain event. Try consulting a dream dictionary, it might help.
