I'd be happy to tell you everything I know. Manolo Blahnik, Christian Louboutin, and Jimmy Choo are most famous for their shoes. Jimmy Choo also makes high end handbags. Their shoes all run around $500 and up. I don't know much about their histories but they are definitely for all ages. Try saksfifthavenue.com, which I'm sure will have at least some of their designs.
Marc Jacobs, on the other hand, designs clothing, shoes, handbags, jewelry and accessories. At the beginning of his career he was head designer for Perry Ellis, and pretty much invented the grunge look for which he was fired in 1993. He then established his own line, which is probably one of the most successful lines ever, and became head designer of Louis Vuitton sometime before 2000 (I think). His own lines are named Marc Jacobs and Marc by Marc Jacobs, the first of which is the more expensive and oriented towards all ages while Marc by Marc Jacobs is generally for a younger, hipper crowd, and considerably cheaper (dresses and coats $400-$500, bags for around $200-$400). He is in my opinion the most creative fashion designer of all, and you can find his clothes at netaporter.com, shopbop.com, saksfifthavenue.com, nordstrom.com, to name a few. He is definitely worth checking out!
