The US won decisively 2-0. The Mexican team is the biggest, whiniest team of poor sports you will ever see. FIFA also needs to discipline their goalkeeper with at least a 2 match ban for a vicious attempt to kick out at one of the US players after Donovan's goal.

I have never seen a sadder, more childish display from any international team. Sanchez and all of Mexico should be ashamed of their team's attitude. No wonder they're losers.

To rojovivo: The ref is part of the field. That shot came from close range and he had no chance to get out of the way. Landon played fair, and the NO-CLASS Mexicans would certainly not have kicked it out of play for anything. What a dumb thing to say.

To gio: In the last 10 games the US are 8-2-1 against Mexico, on home soil they are 7-0-1 with 13 goals for, 0 against. Nearly 800 minutes of shutout play vs. Mexico. You don't have any idea what you are talking about.

USA ROCKS. Usa cruised past Mexico in a 2-0 match. Landon Donovan scored a goal. Even though Mexico had very poor sportsmanship and did not have any respect for USA, many people say Mexico won futbolistically. That means they had a much more techincal game with a lot more strategy.

Yes USA won, but from this game and from other games the U.S. has won in "home" soil, it can not be concluded that the USA is better in soccer than Mexico. It will be like saying that Mexico, since it has beaten Brazil 4 out of the last 5 Matches, that Mexico is now better than the Brazilians. USA has gotten much better at soccer the same as Mexico, but Mexico can not claim to be better than Brazil neither can USA claim to be better than Mexico. There is an X factor that helps the underdog play better and many times beat a better team. I know that when Mexico plays Brazil everyone in the team wants play good and beat Brazil while Brazilians dont care to much by loosing to Mexico although at the end it does hurt loosing to any team. The same thing happens when USA plays Mexico, USA wants to beat Mexico so bad and the Mexican players do not care to much(its just USA) at the end it does hurt losing to a much inferior team(you will know this if you watched the game).

US 2 MEX 0: overall a real good football game, even though the Mexican team had only one practice prior to the game because their leagues in progress. Mexico needs to step it up, they win against top ranked teams and no country matched Mexico's total of 67 goals in qualifying for the 2006 FIFA World Cup Germany and they lose against the US. Maybe becuase thier friendly matches, I can't wait to see Mexico back in the World Cup against Germany. The only team in America that gives us a real game. GO GERMANY

fken americans won 2-0 and they think their all that. how many times has the us beat mexico in mexico 0 at least we have beaten in the us. they will play again and mexico will win. im glad the goal keeper tried to kick an american player that was the best thing in the game.
