Even at the schools you listed, they won't take you.

If you want to go to a school like that, just go to a JC/Community College and then transfer after a couple of years.

That will depend on which good colleges you apply to. The "Colleges that see themselves as THE BEST" do not look beyond the very top "academic grades" when evaluating potential students.

Small colleges and some good colleges look at grades PLUS ones demonstrated potential. You will set yourself up if you only apply to the most popular big colleges and don't look at schools that match your interests, skills and abilities.

Remember success is learning and completing college not competing to get in. Many "top" colleges are so competitive that many students drop out or simply get sick from the everyday challenge to compete.

Go to a community college first and then transfer into a nice school. The Gpa requirements will not be as high for a transfer student and you will be good to go!

Colleges don't take gambles, if you have a low GPA or SAT score, you WILL not go to a good college.

judging by your GPA, no. Most like a 3.0 or above.
