pen or pencil?

which is better a pen or pencil?? why?

Pen is neater to write with and dosen't smear. But a pencil is better so you can erase your mistakes. I always have one of each with me do I can choose which ever is best at the time.

A pencil is best if you wont to make a draft. By using a pencil you can correct any mistakes. When the draft is done, You can write it in ink using a pen. Use a black ink pen for all legal letters or drafts. In drawing pictures a pencil is best, you can do shading with it. For all around use a pencil can't be beat.

Get one of those pen/pencil things... It's easier. But a pencil would be better if you can't spell, and a pen is better if you like to decorate and if you can write without making mistakes.

Get a # 2 1/2 pencil with one of those slide over erases on the top and an electric sharpener. Point does not break like those mechanical ones and the 2 1/2 keeps the point sharper longer than those # 2's.

It really depends, if you don't want it rubbed out then a pen is better, but if you want to correct mistakes then a pencil is better,,, I'm OK i don't make mistakes so i prefer a pen...

I'm left-handed so i prefer ballpoint pens because they won't smear like a pencil or other pens would.
