The is a difference betweem nudism and erotica. Erotica is meant to cause arousal. The models/actors in such content are usually very attractive and use lots of makeup to hide their flaws. They also pose and act in ways to highlight their sexuality. It is a combination of these things that makes one get turned on when viewing such content.

Nudists, on the other hand, come in all shapes and sizes. They generally don't wear a lot of makup or try to cover anything up. They also do normal everyday activities, they just do them naked. When you are at a nudist camp or beach you also aren't generally looking at people, rather you are having fun swimming or playing sports or whatever. After a while you tend to see everyone as ordinary people and not naked people.

That's not to say that arrousal doesn't occur at nudist facilities--it is, after all, human nature. Its just that the environment isn't trying to elicit that behavior as is the case in erotica.

Definitely NOT!

Why?

Well, when you are exposed (pun intended) to the female nude that used to titalate (yes, again!) you when clothed no longer is used as an arousal device, its hard (oh no, yes again) to find the same arousing.

In other words, when you desexualize the nude, then there is little need to fear being un-necessarily aroused (erect) in a nudist environment. Once the fear is gone the potential for an erection is greatly reduced if not eliminated!

Nope, it seems that you get used to seeing people naked and it doesn't turn you on anymore after a while. Remember: you see everybody naked, that includes your 80 year old neighbor.
