Mimi, you are probably entering the fist phase of menopause. For every woman it is different, the age that it begins, and the symptoms. If you know your mothers history regarding menopause, it would be of significant help to you. I am through menopause, and followed exactly in my moms footsteps. Are you suffering with any other symptoms, or are you taking any new medications? If you are taking medication, you should check the side affects. If you are having, hot flashes, or night sweats, it is more than likely hormonal. At the beginning stages(peri-menopause)your symptoms will probably be sporadic. If you continue to be uncomfortable, a blood test will answer your question, and you will be certain if you are in your changes or not.
