I know how you feel. I hate those kinds of days! Well, here's a list: ~You can always take up crafting. Try and find a local scrapbooking store and buy some materials. It's a lot of fun, and the results are great. Some stores even have scrapbooking sessions and meetings where you can meet new people and such.
~You could go swimming indoors, at your gym, or just workout. It gives you more energy and awakens you.
~You could go to Borders, Barnes and Nobles, or your favorite bookstore, and just read. You could also go to your library.
~You could make a home video. I did that. It's fun! Be wild and crazy, because nobody'll see it but you. Unless you want to show your family/friends.
~You can go and rent some more movies and have a personal movie night with popcorn and the works.
~You can invite over some friends or, even better, invite over an okay friend--someone you're not really best friends with, but want a chance to get to know them better. This would be the perfect opportunity.
~You could write a letter to someone. It doesn't matter who--just write! Time will fly and you'll have fun.
~You could buy a "What to do on a rainy day" book that'll give you even more options than I'm giving you.
~You could mess around with your makeup and try out new looks or weird outfits and take pictures to laugh at later or put in a scrapbook.
~You could play games online.
~You could get some gel pens and design your own envelopes or letters.
~You could go online and search for more things you could do.
:-) Just have fun!
Good luck!

Reading is always good, but most of the time, I don't want to get into a book, so I like to go through/read magazines.
But the best thing I like to do when I'm bored it to write letters. I know with the age of email and stuff, it's nice to get the mail and not have to receive bills or junk. It really perks up the receiver's day when they receive personal mail from you!
I don't like to write long, boring letters. Write in notecards, or even a postcard! I love to buy notecards. I like the pictures and it's blank in the inside so you can write as little or as much as you like. They even sell decorative postcards, not just touristy kinds. Check out JoAnn Fabrics & Crafts or Michaels' or Hobby Lobby in the startionery sections. Even the clearance aisle or $1 aisles/stores for notecards. Don't forget stamps...$.39 U.S. I like to decorate the envelopes with stickers and stuff too.
I think your friends and family/relatives would really like to receive a surprise in the mail from you. You don't even have to mail to someone far, far away. It could be to those who are local to you.
If you don't feel like writing pen to paper, you can always just type your letter on the computer and print it on nice, fun and fancy paper you can put in your printer.
I know with the age of the computer and technology with texting and stuff, I think you may start something with friends and family by sending stuff through the mail. It gives you something to look forward to when the mail arrives.
I hope this helps....

And get some books! For gosh sakes, one needs books!
